Commenting on our application
Online planning commenting system
You are encouraged to comment on the application. This can be carried out very easily using an online form.

Specific elements that you may wish to address in your comments
Most of the documents from the planning application including drawings of the new clubhouse and the Design and Access statement which outlines the key aspects of the development have been included below. These are a good starting point if you don't know much about what is being proposed. (The full set is available through the planning website under 20/03804/FUL).

-
STFC is a community club which will be able to expand its diversity of usage through the replacement of its existing not fit for purpose club house built when STFC operated 3 all male adult teams.
-
STFC runs 64 teams which includes 5 girls and ladies teams, 4 disability teams, walking football, veterans as well as first team and countless junior and youth teams
-
The benefits that it brings to the community which will be greatly improved with a clubhouse to enable us to fully support all users.
-
Our desire to develop responsibly
-
If you like the design, note the appropriateness of the design architecture, sitting well within adjacent plots, tidying up the site by bringing all facilities together under one roof.
-
Similarly, the improved car park and appearance as visitors enter the facility
-
Sitting well with adjacent plots.
-
Providing accessible open space and sports facilities
-
The location for the new building is on a plot that is not used
-
The proposed landscaping provides clearly defined walk ways
-
The proposed upgrade to the car park is much needed as the current car park is unmarked and unsafe
-
The additional grass creed parking will avoid additional cars parking on the road in Mill Lane on very busy days such as first team home fixtures

The club has undertaken to make improvements to the car park and landscaping even though this is not really down to us but as a key stakeholder of Greatness Park we want to make the venue a nice open space for everyone that visits the venue.
