Dear Parents, Guardians and Players
Following on from our decision last Sunday to suspend training, and in the light of recent Government announcements, the FA have advised that all grassroots football be postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak, with immediate effect.
That means all grassroots football leagues that our teams are affiliated to have now followed this recommendation, and as such all fixtures with immediate effect are postponed/cancelled until further notice.
This will also apply to friendlies, training, tournaments and any tours you may have been arranging (all are postponed/cancelled) until further notice.
We will keep you updated when we are advised that it is safe for football activities to recommence.
Similarly, once we have information from the leagues as to their individual plans for completing the season and cup competitions we will advise accordingly.
We will also be reviewing our plans regarding the clubs annual awards day (due to take place on 13th June) at the end of April.
We know that this will be a big disappointment for an already challenging season but its imperative we follow guidelines issued to keep everyone, protected and safe as possible.
