Sevenoaks Town finished second best against play-off contenders Whyteleafe.
Three goals in 14 first half minutes condemned them to a sixth home Bostik League South East defeat of the season.
Boss Micky Collins kept his side in the dressing room for nearly 45 minutes after the game, an indication of his thoughts about the performance.
He made a double change at half-time, sending on Kenny Pogue and Josh Dorling, in place of Osman Proni and Jack Miles, and Oaks made a better fist of things after the break.
Alec Fiddis pulled one back after 64 minutes, Oaks had another ruled out for offside, skipper Tom Ripley headed against angle of bar and post, and Frankie Sawyer’s effort was tipped over the bar by Leafe keeper Tyler McCarthy, but the damage had already been done.
Oaks, 3-2 winners when the teams met at Church Road in November, conceded two goals in as many minutes around the half hour mark, and a third three minutes before the break, ending the game as a contest.
Bradley Wilson converted from the penalty spot his put Leafe ahead, before winger Kelvin Ogboe soon doubled the lead.
He picked the ball up just inside the left touchline, and his right foot cross, helped on by the strong wind, deceived goalkeeper Louie Catherall, and dropped into the far corner.
Lauris Chin made it 3-0 to complete Leafe’s first half dominance.
