Kenny Pogue and Brett Ince can’t stop scoring and that is great news for Sevenoaks Town as they close in on the Southern Counties East Football League title.
Pogue made it 15 in 13 games, while Ince netted his fourth in as many games to settle the contest at Mayfield Road.
Oaks emerged victorious after a tough night weathering the storm against a side they hammered 7-0 just ten days earlier.
The pair continued their respective prolific scoring sequences, Pogue’s far post header put Oaks in front with 25 minutes left, before Ince sealed things, running onto substitute Byron Walker’s cross three minutes from time.
Pogue had another effort cleared off the line, while home keeper Francis Ameyaw produced several good saves as Oaks claimed their eighth win in their last 10 games.
The home side had defender Tayler Maddick sent off four minutes before Ince’s second - after clipping the heels of Pogue.
Goalkeeper Jack Bradshaw returned in goal, and Billy Bennett was also back after both missed the win over Beckenham.
