Billy Bennett and Byron Walker both scored twice as Sevenoaks Town chalked up their biggest home league win for more than a year at The Bourne Stadium.
They were 3-0 up inside the opening 20 minutes, and 4-2 ahead at half-time, going on to make it six-out-of-six this season and retain top-spot in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division on goal difference ahead of Croydon.
Rory Hill maintained his impressive scoring record with the opener inside two minutes - with Walker and defender Tom Ripley adding two more in the second half. Jon Pilbeam got both for Wells, including a penalty.
The victory was Town's best since beating Beckenham 7-1 in February 2016. They scored six twice last season against FC Elmstead in the Kent Senior Trophy and at Croydon in the league.
