Billy Bennett continued his impressive goal scoring record with a hat-trick in Sevenoaks Town's 4-1 Southern Counties East League Premier Division over Cray Valley at Greatness Park on Saturday.
Bennett scored at the start and end of the second half to complete his first treble for the club, taking his tally to nine in 11 games.
He and Byron Walker put Town 2-0 up in 14 minutes, before Aaron Jeffery pulled one back for Cray Valley in stoppage-time from the penalty spot after Greg Benbow's handball in the area.
Bennett made it 3-1 two minutes after the break punishing a defensive mistake before adding his third in the 90th minute as Town completed their sixth home win of the season.
Walker and Bennett both tested Cray keeper Rhys Hughes early on before the pair combined for the latter to put Town ahead after 11 minutes.
Bennett then made the second for Walker three minutes later - tucking the ball inside Hughes' near post.
Kieron McCann saw his shot saved before Town lost injured Chris Edwards and replaced by Tom Ripley.
Returning Joe Bingham then had a shot blocked, before Benbow conceded the spot-kick as Cray pressed on the edge of the box.
Jeffery stepped up to send Rob French the wrong way.
McCann was then denied by Hughes' strong hands with a great block in the last action of the first half.
Bennett wasted little time in getting Town's third, two minutes after the restart pouncing on Hughes' clearance.
Walker and Harrison Carnegie then went close before Cray started to cause problems - either side of Mikey Dalton needing treatment for an injury.
Benbow also went off after picking up a knock and replaced by Steve Camacho with 17 minutes left, before Bennett got his third late on - finishing off McCann's cross from the left.
Next home game for Oaks first team is Wednesday 23rd November 7.45pm ko against FC Elmstead in the Kent Senior Trophy
