The U16's Tandridge team were comfortable winners in this one-sided game against Bromley Rooks.
Starting with just nine players, Bromley were up against it from the start. The first ten minutes, however, proved scrappy as Sevenoaks struggled to get going. Gradually they settled and once the first goal went in - a deft touch at the near most from Dan Stone following a Joseph Russell corner - Sevenoaks looked like scoring every time they got the ball.
Toby Fitzmaurice followed the first goal with a quick fire hat-trick, before Alex Morgan and Lawrence Flarry both scored to give Sevenoaks a 6-0 half time lead.
Within minutes of the start of the second half, Lawrence Flarry scored his second to extend Sevenoaks’ lead. Camped in Bromley’s half from here on, more chances and goals followed. Lawrence Flarry completed his hat trick; man of the match Toby Fitzmaurice added three more to take his tally to six; and Jamie Downs hit the post twice before completing his own hat trick to seal a 14-0 win.
For all the game was one-sided, Bromley continued to compete throughout and were a credit to their club and manager.
